HISTORY

A student association under the French law of 1901, Open Up has been responsible for welcoming and integrating EDHEC's international students from the world's top universities into the school and the Lille area for the past 25 years. For the past 3 years, the association has also been developing a branch on the Nice campus.

The aim is to introduce them to French culture and encourage exchanges between French and international students. We make sure that foreign students have an incredible experience during their exchanges, through trips, festivities and cultural encounters.

As the point of contact for EDHEC's 800 international students, the association has an international reach and is characterized by a unique spirit of openness and cultural sharing!

While the association initially focused on activities reserved for international students, it has since diversified considerably, offering all EDHEC students trips, projects in collaboration with other business school International Offices, and year-round events such as the fledgling International Day project, a culinary forum on campus dedicated to promoting the foreign cultures represented at EDHEC, attracting over 600 students every year.

Our 40-strong team, motivated and totally committed, has been working on this mission for two years, constantly innovating, improving and developing its projects!

Open Up's main mission is to create a welcoming environment for all students coming from abroad, so that they can make the most of their study experience. To achieve this goal, we rely on the skills and commitment of the members responsible for our five departments. Each plays an essential role in the realization of our various initiatives and activities.
