I BDE

The BDE is the association responsible for organizing the big parties that bring together almost all EDHEC students once a month, and the Semi. To take part in BDE events such as the SMATs, you need to pay a membership fee for the whole semester.

A sports association that organizes a student raid, a strong sports course involving cycling, running and other sports activities. If you are interested, don't miss the registrations for next semester!

Events
EDHEC

At EDHEC, there are two types of events: those that take place several times throughout the school year and those that take place only once. Every Sunday, you will receive a newsletter from Open Up with all the events for the following week so that you can stay up to date with what's going on at EDHEC. Here is an overview:

REGULAR EVENTS

I SMAT

Each month the BDE organizes a party for EDHEC students. Theme nights, free drinks and music await you! To access it, you must contribute to the BDE.

I “la boucle”

Just before certain SMATs, EDHECs go to the Auditorium to watch "La Boucle", an epic video mix of all the EDHEC events that have taken place in recent months, filmed and edited by ETNA.

I Meltin'Potes

Once per semester, Open Up organizes a big party in a club that brings together all the Erasmus of Lille from different schools! A memorable evening where we meet other students, where we sing, where we sweat and where we dance to the rhythm of the music.

I Wine Tasting

Dionysos, the oenology association, organizes after-school wine tastings on campus all year round! You will be offered low prices, impressive presentations and very good wines.

I Cooking classes

Have you always wanted to learn to cook to impress your friends or just for indulgence, but you never succeeded? Gourm'EDHEC is here to save you! The specialties of the world will have no more secrets for you.

I Case cracking

EDHEC Consulting Club focuses on business cases, knowledge sharing and networking. To do this, the association organizes case cracking methodology sessions, but also mock interviews, and interviews with consultants to increase our knowledge and help EDHEC students achieve their goals. A good way to train!

ONE-OFF EVENTS

I IA DAY

To welcome you as it should be, Open Up organizes two Welcome Weeks at the start of each semester. During these days, you will be invited to afterworks, parties, as well as a whole day named Inter'Action Day which will take place on Saturday, September 2. Reserve your day to enjoy activities that will give you the opportunity to meet French and international students.

I EDHEC WELCOME WEEKS

At the beginning of the school year, the BDE organizes many daily events in collaboration with other associations, all in order to allow new EDHEC students to meet. Let the festivities begin!

I LE Père nOël est un rockeur ?

The Perno (members of the Adlib and VLV! associations) organizes a festival in Lille, a real musical rendez-vous with an original and international program where you can only have fun! In addition, it has an original and charitable concept: a purchased ticket is equivalent to a purchased toy which will then be offered by the association to underprivileged children in Lille.

I la course croisère edhec (CCE)

The Course Croisière EDHEC is an international student event that attracts more than 3,000 people every year to compete in high-level sporting events, whether on sea, land or sand, and enjoy legendary evenings under the big top. An event to experience in your student life for sure!

I l'organisation des jeux omnisports (OJO)
OJO organizes a sports weekend around a competition between the 7 best French business schools! For two days, the EDHEC campus beats to the rhythm of the competition and the songs of the promotions.

I La distri du Ch’ti

The Ch’ti distributes, for a weekend, the City Guide that he wrote himself during the year: from the restaurant to the bar, via the spa or the shops, you will find the best addresses in the city! Delivery is usually in the city center and you have free access to various activities.

I l'Aventuraid

For a weekend, the Raid EDHEC organizes a hike in a wooded environment. It often combines trail running, mountain biking, canoeing, archery and orienteering. A sporty and fun weekend in the great outdoors!

I La Cruz

The Club Voile EDHEC (Sailing Club) organizes a week-long regatta every year, a very relaxing student event. On the program: sea, boat and sun. Last year, the CVE took the EDHECs sailing in the Saronic Gulf in Greece.

Student card
EDHEC

When you join EDHEC, you receive a student card. But what you may not know is that this student card can be useful outside the institution.

I Cinemas

Bring your student card when you go to see a movie, because you will benefit from a student price, which is more advantageous than the normal price. But that only works if you can present your card.

I fast food

Often when you go to eat at a McDonald's, Quick, Subway, etc., showing your student ID will get you discounts.

I museums

Some museums in France are free for those under 26 (you must present your passport or identity card, as well as your visa or residence permit if you do not live in the EU).

You will find more information here.

practice sports
at EDHEC

I Access to sports facilities

The EDHEC Sports Department manages the sports facilities. You have free access to the gymnasium, swimming pool, fitness, squash and dance rooms. To access these facilities, you still need to register. To do this, you must log in to myEDHEC

Before any practice in the gym (swimming pool, dance, bodybuilding, dojo, multisports, and squash) the reservation of the time slot is compulsory onSports Booking through the app Sports @ EDHEC Lille.

I Sports lessons

Also, there are many sports classes that you can pay for individually in order to attend. Information on this subject will be given at the beginning of the semester.

I sports training

You also have free access to sports training (with a coach) and you can join a sports team (football, basketball, swimming team... and much more). To do this, you must pre-register for a sport on myEDHEC.  Then you take the selection tests in your discipline.

If you are selected, you provide a medical certificate attesting that your state of health does not prevent you from participating in the sports competition. You download, approve and sign the Competitor's Charter (see "Documents to download"), then drop it off at the Union Sportif office. Finally, you receive a license from the French University Sports Federation issued by the sports department.
