All the members of the association work together to bring this event to life. It's as much work as it is organization, from logistics to relations with international students and associations, to food, drinks and activities. Open Up members are there to help the international students, who cook thanks to a certain budget allocated by Open Up.
This year, we plan to develop this event into International Days. Its aim will be to promote cultures. The event will extend over several days, with more activities (conferences, concerts, dance classes) and a closing party.
This is our association's flagship event, eagerly awaited by students. International Day aims to showcase the gastronomy of each country. Orchestrated by the Vice President, it attracted nearly 600 EDHEC 2021 students. Nearly 10 stands of different nationalities were set up over the course of the day, in partnership with other EDHEC associations.
It was a totally free event, during which students were able to taste typical dishes prepared by international students who concoct the best dishes from their culture. They have carte blanche to take us on a journey with delicious exotic flavors.
